CYPRESS, Texas (KTRK) –
The man accused of shooting his wife and wounded his daughter outside a church of Cypress was found, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The SWAT is located on the west side of Sam Houston Parkway near Westheimer, where Arthur Edigin, 62, is staying at an Extended Stay America hotel.
Deputy Ministers were informed that Edigin had entered the hotel. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Officials say Edigin is on the third floor and his room is surrounded by MPs.
The negotiators are heard by loudspeakers urging him to take his cell phone or his cell phone.
We are told Edigin. spoke to members from time to time. They try to convince him to surrender peacefully.
The hotel is only partially evacuated. The nearest rooms of Edigin are empty. Other guests still have hotel guests who wake up and learn that a murder suspect is surrounded by deputies.
According to the deputies, Edigin would have opened fire in front of Hochmeister, the Catholic Church of Christ the Redeemer, shortly after 7 pm Thursday, killing his wife. His daughter was also affected but survived the shooting. A child in the car at the time was unharmed, sources said.
According to sources in the Harris County Sheriff's Office, he reportedly threatened his wife, an incident that occurred on January 6.

A woman told us that her husband and three children were in jail during the shooting.

Pam Ledesma said that her husband had told her that "there is no one in town". They were in a gymnastic room praying the rosary during this dreadful incident.
"It's just crazy to see what kind of things happen, number one in a church and I know we live in Houston, but at the same time, I mean I do not know what kind of person would do that in a church when people are just trying to pray at night, "Ledesma said.
The Archdiocese issued the following statement on the shooting:
"Our prayers accompany the victims and families affected by the tragic shootings that occurred tonight at the Catholic Church. Christ the Redeemer, officials from the Archdiocese and the parish community are cooperating with the local authorities as part of their investigation. "
The Roman Catholic Church of Christ the Redeemer shared a message on his Facebook page, informing the parishioners that they would hold the regular mass scheduled for Friday at 9 am and the offices will be open. The Catholic School and the Genesis Early Childhood program are canceled for Friday. Parents are still allowed to take their children as usual, but they said it would not be an official school day.
