Belarus and Russia are about to wage a large-scale war on information. Signs of this:
- Minsk's feeble attempt to challenge the Russian accusations provoked a sharp defeat by Russia.
- The question of Belarus was raised in the political agenda of Russia.
- The promise of Russian TV channels indicates that the Kremlin has decided to take Belarus seriously.
- Minsk's official tactics, which worked well before, no longer work.
Well, that's what waited. Last year, the attack against Belarus with false and alarmist forecasts only organized marginal resources of the Russian media. Russian federal TV channels are now shot down.
Despite the fact that the Belarusian authorities have not yet given him a valid reason. There were only hints of Lukashenka for Belarus to "try the tooth" in the years to come, that "we will never walk under the whip" and that "Russia can lose an ally". These replies are rather innocent in relation to these precise estimates of Moscow's position, heard in the past and which provoked no reaction on the part of the Kremlin.
And even a weak attempt to appeal against the charges against Russia caused a sharp rebound.
January 11, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Maria Zakharova denied Lukashenka's statement about the loss of an ally. On January 14, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that the volume of support for Belarus was estimated at billions of dollars and that Minsk should respect it. The head of the Russian government hinted that Russia was granting loans to Belarus and did not demand their restitution.
At the same time, Russian federal TV channels were included in the campaign. On Sunday, January 13, Dmitry Kiselev conductor of the television channel "Russia 1", aired a "Vesti week", strongly attacking Minsk. Then, on January 14, the NTV channel showed a plot about the rise of nationalism in Belarus.
In addition, if the Belarusian nationalists indignant by NTV, Kiselyov attacked Lukashenka. But both channels are considering the current Russian-Belarusian conflict through the prism of Russia's confrontation with Ukraine and the West.
It should be noted that other Russian resources criticize the Moscow policy towards Belarus. Novaya Gazeta, well-known journalists like Nikolai Svanidze Leonid Parfenov are very skeptical about the Kremlin's attempts to force Minsk to integrate.
This is part of the political agenda of Russia, the Belarusian issue has grown, becomes much more relevant and more important than ever before.
The second conclusion is that in the Kremlin, Belarus has decided to do it seriously. If, at the same time, Belarus is beaten by two federal chains for two consecutive days, it is obvious that there was a permission from above. And Lukashenka hopes that somewhere on the sidelines, in the negotiations of the joint working group, it will be possible to bomb the Russians, to take them as substitutes, and that this probably does not happen.
At least two options now appear to the leader of Belarus. The first is to appeal to public opinion, civil society, opposition nationalists and the West to resist pressure from Moscow.
The second option is an attempt to bring his pro-Russian people to Russia, struggling with Belarusian nationalists, scared them with Moscow. It seems that Lukashenko chooses the second option.

An observer of the Belarusian editorial board of Radio Svoboda Yuriy Drakohorst wrote earlier that the Belarussian leader had adopted a tactic to escape to the annexation of Russia by a strong embrace. So it seems that this tactic, which worked well before, does not work for the moment. The truce is over. The incidents of Russian federal TV channels indicate that heavy artillery is on the run.
