On Friday, December 14, in Hochfilzen, Austria, a men's sprint race was held as part of the second leg of the Biathlon World Cup.

The Norwegian won the sprint by Johannes Tingnes Bjo . In a single gesture, he managed to cross the distance in 24: 49.2.

Four representatives of Ukraine participated in the race. The best sprint triumphed Artem Prima who scored 26th of a place. Dmytro Podruchny also made a mistake on the line of fire. He lost to the winner of the race for a minute and a half and finished at 32.

Sergei Semenov, with two missing, took the 90th place. The worst Ukrainian is Vitaliy Kilchytsky, who also failed to shoot at zero (4 losses) and finished 102nd.

Since Kilchytsky and Semyonov were out of the top 60, they will not participate in the race to persecute.
