The coaching headquarters of the Ukrainian national team announced the composition of the team at the World Cup stadium in Oberhof which will take place from 10 to 13 January.
Julia Zhuravok returns to the women's team after two stages of the UIB Cup and Ruslan Tkalenko who was not admitted to the men's team in December because of illness, for the first time of the season entering the World Cup.
Men: Dmitry Underarm, Artem Prima, Sergei Semenov, Artyom Tyshchenko, Ruslan Tkalenko.
Women: Olena Pidgrushna, Yuli Jim Anastasia Merkushyna Valentyna Semerenko, Vita Semerenko, Julia Zhuravok.
At the World Cup in sprint Oberhof biathlon runners, the pursuit and the race to the relay race. The first race – the women's sprint – will be held on Thursday, January 10th.
After three stages of the World Cup, the men's team ranks 9th in the Nations Cup, the women's – 7th.
Recall Ukrainians won two medals at Pokljica – Tishchenko and Merkushin won bronze at the mixed relay and Jim won "gold" at "individual" .
