The Ukrainian women's team started the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Ruhpolding very well, and the Ukrainians now have to be rehabilitated with a team relay race (4×6).
At the last stage in Oberhof "blue and yellow" the relay is rather high 8th, and now, team work can produce a good result. On the eve of the relay race, coaches replaced team captain Olena Pidgrushnu at the UIB Cup convening, Julia Zhuravok. The undergrowth is in poor condition, which has created an anti-personal record in the sprint. It was therefore decided to trust the young Zhuravok (who won the day before the first title in the history of an individual race shortened to the IBU Cup.) Ukraine will be represented at the relay by Anastasiya Merkushin, Valya Semerenko, Julia Zhuravok and Vita Semerenko (Marshushin will be the first to participate)
