Hyundai and Kia are considering the possibility of releasing two compact crossovers for the European market. The new compact crossover should be front-wheel drive, "because no one needs a complete drive in this segment," says Hyundai's director of operations in Europe Thomas Schmid below the Hyundai Kona and Kia Stonic.

In the future, new models of compact brands may serve as a basis for new segments of the entry-level crossover of up to 4,000 mm in length and replace the net car.

There is currently a Suzuki Jimmy on this market, but this car is on a chassis and with a full drive, so that, rather, is is a small SUV than an urban crossover.

The mini crossover can even replace city cars. We do not know if they will be published and if they do, they will replace the urban models of the Hyundai i10 and KIA Picanto models or will be published in parallel.
