Chris Burrous, a reporter and presenter in Los Angeles, dies after being found in a hotel room.

The death of the 43-year-old KTLA is currently under investigation for a possible overdose, reported CNN's subsidiary.

"The man was no longer breathing and CPR was being administered while paramedics were preparing to transport him to the hospital," Glendale police said in a statement. "The man was later declared dead at the hospital."

The death is under investigation. The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office has not released a report on the cause of death yet.

Burrous joined the Los Angeles radio station in 2011 after 14 years of reporting and anchoring across the country, reported KTLA.

Son of a farmer and NASA engineer, Burrous married Mai Do-Burrous in 2003, and they have a daughter of nine years, according to KTLA.
