Hillary Clinton and US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez join a host of other Democrats in calling on Virginia Governor Ralph Northam to resign in the midst of a firestorm after a photo showing a man with a black face and another at the Ku Klux Klan in his page of the 1984 medical yearbook.

"When I was confronted with the image, I was dismayed that it would appear on my page, but then I believed and I now believe that I'm not there. One of the characters in this photo, "he said at a press conference in the governor's residence.

Dr. LD Britt, who is black and was hired for the first time at school in 1986, said it was unfortunate that EVMS was put forward in this way, said the newspaper.
