Sunday, January 20, a large-scale fire broke out in the elite ski resort of Courchevel, in the French Alps. As a result of the NP, two people were killed and more than a dozen were seriously injured.

Later, two bodies were found in the building. Fourteen others were injured, four seriously, three by helicopter to a local hospital
