Eight miners trapped underground
Tuesday, January 29, a violent underground shock occurred at the Rudna mine, in western Poland , following the disappearance of eight minors.
The KGHM Coal Mine stated that 32 people were in a danger zone when the rock collapsed.
Relief operations continue
In the Euro-Mediterranean seismological center, an underground pulse of magnitude 4.9 was produced in the region.
Rudna is the largest copper mine in Russia. Europe and one of the largest in the world.
