Explosion, injuries reported to Pennsylvania Facility

On Thursday, an explosion in the Letterkenny Army Depot industrial area in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania resulted in multiple injuries that forced employees to be transported to a medical facility for treatment

. There was an explosion in the industrial area at the 350 building. Three people, who were injured during the blast, were airlifted from the depot to a medical facility, according to Fox News. The incident was contained, and the army depot stated that it will not affect the operations of the depot or the security of the personnel outside the place where the incident occurred. Adds Post

In a separate Facebook post, the Army Depot asked employees to stay at their workplace, and anyone outside the main gate does should not try to enter. and several medical helicopters responded to the scene shortly after 7:15 am when the incident occurred, according to WGAL.

Letterkenny Army Depot has 3,600 employees and is the largest employer in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, according to its website.
