The pilot's body floated on an individual life raft. The body of another pilot was found in the water, he was raised aboard a lifeboat.

One of the browsers was found alive. He was rescued and delivered to the airfield of the Eastern Military District. No threat to the pilot's life.

The fate of the fourth pilot is unknown: a Mi-8 helicopter, three aircraft and five ships were involved in the search operation.
