Two people reportedly were hospitalized with shark bites on Friday afternoon as they swam in the waters near Sadler Road in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
The Fernandina Beach Fire Department arrived at the scene three minutes after receiving information about the alleged attack of sharks. A few minutes later, officials were alerted to an additional shark-related injury
"The two patients would be stable with life-threatening injuries." The Fernandina Beach town government has said in a statement on Facebook Friday evening.

According to WJTX, a 30-year-old man and 17-year-old were injured by sharks. Man, who had been surfing, said that a nearly 4 foot shark-nurse bit him while he was trying to push him away towards the shore. The teenager reportedly was bitten in the waters about a kilometer from the first incident
The ocean rescue division of Fernandina Beach shut down all beaches in the area Friday, with officials posting red flags at the entrance e beaches
