Google is aware of this problem and tries to solve it. Specialists in the company are trying to address at least some of the delays in the tablet mode. It turned out that this problem could be (relatively) a simple solution.
The developers found that most delays in tablet display mode were related to drawing requiring rounded corners. When you disable this feature, performance increases dramatically, even on Celeron-based entry-level Pixel Slate models.

Although this solution does not eliminate all the interface issues, it improves the comfort of using tablets. However, there is no information as to when a corresponding fix for Chrome OS will be released.
