Scientists using the Hubble telescope removed the third largest triumph galaxy from the universe.

The triangle galaxy, also known as Messier 33 or NGC 598, is one of the most distant space objects visible to the naked eye, says Non-News.

The resulting image was gigantic. 54 paintings were painted together for his creation. The result is a photo of a resolution of 665 million pixels that weighs 1.67 GB in TIFF format.

The galaxy is not entirely located in the frame, but only a 19,400 light-years section containing 10 to 15 million stars. The telescope failed to capture the entire galaxy because of its large size – 60,000 light years.

According to scientists, the Galaxy Messier 33 is filled with dust and gas, from which new stars are formed at a crazy speed.

A little earlier, OBOZREVATEL reported that NASA had announced a historic event in space.
