Hyundai will unlock cars with a fingerprint
Hyundai introduced a new Santa Fe update in 2019 at the China Auto Show. The SUV has received an exclusive feature – unlocking with a fingerprint. This is possible thanks to the sensor located on the door handle.

An updated SUV will be available for sale of the already-equipped know-how, but so far only for the Chinese car market. It is believed that such a system will protect the car from kidnappings and burglaries .
The same car will unlock some people by registering their fingerprints first. In addition, the Santa Fe 2 automatically adjusts the seat position and the tilt angle of the mirrors according to the user.
The new Hyundai car is also equipped with a voice recognition system and a wireless charger for the phone.
This is not the first case where manufacturers are using alternative methods to unlock and start a car. For example, the owners of Tesla Model 3 are already using their smartphones as car keys. However, no company had previously used fingerprint technology to unlock the car.
