O Senator Claire McCaskill said she did not know why the elected Republic Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Became so popular among Democrats.

But the Missouri Democrat has some tips to give to the rising young Liberal star.

In an interview with CNN, McCaskill admitted, "I do not quite understand why she is the thing," after admitting that she did not know Ocasio-Cortez when asked if the self-proclaimed democratic socialist was a "crazy democrat" like those whom she had warned during the 2018 campaign. McCaskill said that the 29-year-old was a "good example" of "brilliant and brilliant" object out of nowhere and that surprised people when she beat a very experienced congressman.

Ocasio-Cortez defeated outgoing Democratic representative Joe Crowley in June during the main race. She then defeated her Republican opponent Anthony Pappas in the general election and will represent the 14th Congressional District of New York at the next Congress. Among its priorities include climate change, income inequality and the elimination of "pipelines from school to prison".

Despite his uncertainty as to Ocasio-Cortez's appeal, McCaskill, who lost his candidacy for re-election Republican Josh Hawley last month, wished Ocasio-Cortez success.

"She has now talked a lot, I do not know what she's done yet to spark that kind of enthusiasm, but I wish her good luck." I hope she's will suspend the moon, "McCaskill said before adding a note of caution.

"But I hope that she also realizes that the parts of the country that reject the Democratic Party, like many white voters of the working class, need to know how their work will be respected and the dignity of their work, and how we can really stick to the questions on which we can actually accomplish something, "McCaskill said.

"Rhetoric is cheap, getting results is much more difficult," McCaskill added.
