The Ministry of Economic Development has released a new list of luxury cars, whose owners are due to pay tax this year.

The transport tax of 25 000 hryvna remains at the same level as last year. The only thing that has changed is the list of cars charged for such a tax. In 2019, officials were included in the list of 299 brands and models. Last year, the list was longer for 34 models.

According to Ukrainian legislation, the owner of the car is required to pay a tax on vehicles whose value exceeds 375 minimum wages. At the beginning of 2019, this amount was equivalent to 1,565 million UAH, while the past luxury threshold was set at 1,396 million UAH

Owners of models such as BMW X4 X3, as well as Audi Q5. Owners of Ford Edge and others can now sigh with relief and others are now exempt from this tax.
