Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze (SEBN), a German-Japanese machinery construction company, plans to commission the company's first phase for the production of automotive wiring at the Khmelnytsky power station this autumn. It is reported by Inventure .
According to the information on the website of the Khmelnytsky Regional Administration part of the premises intended for production has been repaired, as well as the recruited cadres.
According to SEBN representatives, thanks to the launch of a new production by the end of the year, 500 jobs will be created, and after capacity expansion, the number of employees is expected to reach 2,000.
As is known, Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze is specialized in the production of cable networks for the Volkswagen company.
In 2006, the company opened its first factory in Ukraine, Sumitomo Electric Bordnetse-Ukraine. This company is located in. Baikovki Ternopil region and produces strong cable networks for Volkswagen Golf A5, A6, A7 and hybrid cars. Since 2015, mass production of communication for the Audi A4 B9 has begun.
In 2013, SEBN opened two subsidiaries of SE Bordnetse-Ukraine LLC in Chernivtsi and Chortkiv in the Ternopil region.
EC Bordnetse-Ukraine receipts in 2017 amounted to more than 921 million USD, and in 2016 – 627.6 million UAH
