In which countries do not celebrate the New Year

There are countries in which the New Year is not only celebrated, and even banned by law. In these days, locals do not prepare party food, do not buy gifts. They perform normal work days on December 31 and January 1.

In China, the New Year is called "Yuan Teng". "Yuan" in translation means the beginning, and "homage" is a day. Until the twentieth century in the Chinese calendar, the New Year takes place on the first day of spring, but on September 27, 1949, the government added another day off – January 1. It is a holiday in China, discreetly and imperceptibly.

On New Year's Eve, Saudi Arabia is prohibited by law. The special police of Al-Mutawa oversees the lack of New Year's attributes in stores and shopping malls. Has the right to remove it. The arrival of Saudi Arabia next year marks March 21, the day of the vernal equinox. Almost always, this day coincides with the first day of the holy month of Muharram. On this day, it is not allowed to organize mass celebrations and commemorate it quietly, in the family circle.

January 1st The New Year is not celebrated in India. In the country, the only national New Year date is March 22, but some states mark the beginning of next year and at other times.

In Israel, the new year is called Rosh Ha Shana. There is no date of permanent celebration, since the transition to the following year is celebrated in the autumn, in the new moon. It's usually in September or October. In Israel, this feast is solemnly celebrated and combines many ancient traditions. The New Year, from December 31 to January 1, is celebrated in Israel only by immigrants from the former USSR.

In the spring, the New Year celebrates Iran. January 1st for Iranians is a normal day because they have their own schedule. This is what is called the Sunny Hijag. They have their own chronology. At this moment in Iran 1395. And the New Year in Iran is called Novruz and its beginning is celebrated on March 21st.

A year begins in Navruz, Afghanistan. It is also celebrated in Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Albania and Macedonia.

In South Korea, the New Year is marked by the lunar calendar. He is called Sollall. It is celebrated throughout the country and that day, the inhabitants have a tradition of going to the graves of their ancestors to honor their memory. January 1st is a holiday in South Korea. These days in the country you can see the baptism trees and Santa, but this day is taken with the family.

In Bangladesh, the New Year arrives on April 14, the first day of the month, boyshak. He is called Bengal. That day, the inhabitants wear the best clothes and go for a walk with their families in the parks. Nowadays, Bangladesh does not accept drinking alcohol. The inhabitants walk, photograph, dance and have fun. And January 1, the official holiday of the country.
