Following the release of the first Intel Core i9-9900K 8-core processor, the "blue" chip maker is preparing to introduce a similar processor for laptops. The novelty will be called Core i9-9980HK and will be part of the Coffee Lake-H family
The Overclockers website reports that the new chip has already been noticed in the 3DMark test software database.
Features. The Intel Core i9-9980HK processor received an unlocked multiplier, an 8-core hybrid processor, and operates at a nominal 2.4 GHz frequency. The maximum frequency of the boost mode is unfortunately unknown. Considering its membership in the H series processors, the standard heating of the new elements should be 45 W.
