Intel has patented its own vision of a flexible smartphone

Although Intel is practically not present on the smartphone market, it develops perspective concepts. In the near future, the boom of flexible smartphones is expected and the company has shown its own vision. She received a patent for a flexible phone and Letsgodigital's artists created a visual model based on it.

The flexible mobile phone, according to Intel, should be folded three times. This format will give it more possibilities, with a natural place for the stylus included. There is no need to talk about hardware gadgets and other features – it only exists on paper.

Three working groups have to turn the concept of Intel into a giant tablet, compact phone, comfortable screen with movie stand and make it look like a laptop.

Xiaomi recently demonstrated his vision of a flexible phone. His decision also has three elements, but they are organized differently from the concept of Intel. The first live demonstration of the Xiaomi Flexible Smartphone is expected at a press conference on February 24th. This is before the opening of the MWC 2019, to be held in Barcelona from 25 to 28 February. It is expected that other manufacturers will display their flexible devices.
