The Douglas County Sheriff's Department in Wisconsin on Thursday informed the Sheriff's Department of Barron County that they had located Jayme alive.
She was found Thursday afternoon in Gordon, Wisconsin, a town about 66 miles north of Jayme. said the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
A suspect was arrested about 10 minutes after Jayme's discovery by the authorities, the sheriff's office said.
No other details were available immediately, but authorities announced a press conference Friday morning.
Jayme's aunt, Sue Allard, said her niece was in the hospital on Thursday night.
Jayme disappeared on October 15 and her parents, James and Denise Closs, were found shot dead in their home near Barron, a town of 3,300 in northwestern Wisconsin.
The police arrived to find the door depressed but no one was there. The investigators claimed to believe that Jayme was home during the shooting.
"Finally, we would like to say a special thank you to the family for their support and patience during the trial, we promised to bring Jayme home and we'll keep that promise tonight." From the bottom of our heart THANK YOU! Barron County, Chris Fitzgerald, said in a statement.

Thousands of tips. The FBI offered a cash reward for information about where it was and hunters in the area were also asked to watch the clues closely.
A few days after Jayme disappeared, law enforcement officials assured the public that they thought she was alive and in danger.
Another of Jayme's aunts, Jennifer Smith, pleaded with those who knew where the girl was. to contact the sheriff's department.
"Jayme, we need you here with us to fill that hole we have in our hearts," Smith said more than a week after the girl's disappearance. "We love you all the way to the moon and back, and we will never stop looking for you."
