ST. LOUIS – A judge of St. Louis abandons the case of a police officer accused of killing a colleague while he was playing a variant of Russian roulette.
Judge David Roither is challenged on Friday following a request from the officer's attorney. Nathaniel Hendren. According to the motion, Roither's comments at a previous hearing suggested that Hendren was biased.
. January 24: death of the agent Katyln Alix. Prosecutors say Hendren and Alix take turns pointing at a firearm carrying a bullet and pulling the trigger. Alix was hit in the chest.
