NASA published a surface plan of Jupiter where we can see one of the storms that are part of the southern equatorial belt of the planet. According to the website of the agency, the projectile was fired by the Juno spacecraft at a distance of eight thousand kilometers from the top of the giant gas cloud
The hurricane recalls the famous Great Red Spot, it is surrounded by several small reddish swirls, are slightly higher and left. It is worth mentioning that the image transmits the natural color of the surface of Jupiter, it would look like a planet if someone was looking at it from the space at the moment of the image. The red hue gives hurricane substances called chromophore.
"Juno" was launched on August 5, 2011 in Cape Canaveral, Florida (USA) and is part of the New Frontiers program. The Juno, in the orbit of Jupiter, worked on the Galileo probe, but Junona, the first in history, will fly the planet through its poles.
The device arrived at Jupiter on July 4, 2016. It will remain in the orbit of the planet for several years and will transfer new images to the ground. In the end, the probe will be destroyed.
