Berreth's fiancé, Patrick Frazee, was indicted Monday in Colorado for his death. Berreth, who disappeared last month, was the mother of her one – year – old daughter.
The link between the unidentified woman in Idaho, Frazee and Berreth is not clear.
Police in Twin Falls, Idaho, tried to return to Colorado, evidence of a sensitive nature discovered in December, after the FBI asked them to participate in the investigation into the murder , they said Thursday.
The police will not discuss the evidence further and will report working with Colorado investigators to determine whether the items should be sent by mail or courier.
Frazee was arrested nearly a month after Berreth disappeared during Thanksgiving near Woodland Park, a city located between Denver and Colorado Springs.
Berreth's employer received an SMS from her phone on November 25, telling her that she could not work. this week, the police said. Frazee said that she had also texted him that day, but that the content of this text had not been published.

Frazee told the police that he had last seen Berreth on November 22, when he had resumed their daughter, making him the last known person to have reported him having living view.
Frazee is kept without bail. A hearing is scheduled for January 29th. If he is found guilty, he faces the death penalty.
Frazee felt "ruthless," he told an acquaintance. lived in Warden, Washington, said his cousin, Jodee Garreston. A few months later, Berreth moved to Colorado to join Frazee, said Garreston, who has never met Frazee.
Frazee operates a horse shoe company in Teller County. Several friends and customers of Frazee told CNN that he was well known and appreciated by the community and that he was a good father for his daughter Kaylee.
Two friends said that Frazee told them that her relationship with Berreth ended several months ago. Berreth's aunt, who wrote on Facebook that Berreth had broken up with Frazee the very day of his disappearance.

Freeman says that Frazee told him that the relationship with Berreth ended on New Year's Day 2018 and that the only contact they had had was with their daughter. Berreth's mother did not respond to CNN's requests for comment.
Frazee was at Freeman's house two days before she was arrested, she said. She remembers that he was worried about what would happen to Kaylee's arrest, she said.
Freeman said that Frazee had told him that he felt "forced" by the police, which he felt seemed to be focused solely on him.
