Kiev plans to buy weapons on a large scale in the United States

She also noted that Ukraine hoped to become an active participant in the US Military Foreign Funding Program (FMF).

"US aid continues to improve the training of Ukrainian Armed Forces combat units, equipment, medical and logistical support .I hope with the new legislation, our cooperation will be even closer, "said the Deputy Prime Minister.

For his part, Dayton noted that, given the opportunities available, it is necessary to work hard on the path of defense sector reform.

"I am aware of the complexity of the conditions in which Ukraine was, but it is not necessary to look for reasons that hinder the process of transformation of the country." Given the opportunities, it is necessary to work tirelessly to reform the security and defense sector in Ukraine, "said Dayton.

Recall that the Verkhovna Rada approved this law on January 17 and 31, it was signed by the president. The law gives the Ministry of Defense the right to conclude international treaties on the import of defense products without involving Ukroboronprom.
