"The OSCE representatives have developed a concept of joint mission, which is still under discussion.It is officially the position of the OSCE Chairmanship, I have spoke with Mr. Lychakom (the OSCE President, Miroslav Lychak-ed) .But it is very important to me that after the discussions that took place recently after the cease-fire attempt of 18 an understanding of what should be an international component, "said the minister.

According to Klimkin, the mission can only be composed of representatives of the UN and be attached to the OSCE, which is already part of the Donbass.

He emphasized again that this should not be only militaristic. presence, but also the police component and the international administration

"I have this concept, we are discussing it up to now, we are far from being formally launched, but I believe that such a joint mission of the OSCE and the UN can be one of the most effective options, "said the minister.

Recall, earlier Klimkin had declared 16 OSCE representatives in TKG "have submitted a proposal to create a joint mission of the UN and OSCE". According to him, such a mission should include a military and police component, as well as an international administration.

However, the OSCE stated that it was not proposing to establish a joint mission with the UN in Donbass, as reported by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United States. Ukraine, Pavlo Klimkin.

UNN within the OSCE, which performs a special surveillance mission in eastern Ukraine, is ready to provide assistance in the field in case decision to deploy a United Nations peacekeeping mission in Donbass.
