Lexar has released the world's first 1 TB SD Memory Card

Lexar introduced a new SD format reader that will be of interest to all photographers and video operators. The new memory card has an SDXC standard and is 1TB. This is the first drive of this type that can be purchased.

The Lexar card is not the first in the world at 1TB – a few years ago, SanDisk presented the prototype. But its development remained in the laboratories, it is still not possible to buy it.

The new Lexar for 1 TB belongs to the SDXC UHS-I class and has a V30 / U3 speed rating. The manufacturer indicates that the reader reads the data at a speed of up to 95 MB / s and writes them at 70 MB / s

At the cost of an SD card for 1 TB, you can buy two 512 GB disks and one ice cream. Lexar has set the price of its player at 500 USD, while a 512GB card will cost 150 USD.
