Man trying to propose a grid engagement ring, NYPD gets the ring but is now looking for a couple

The New York Police Department found a ring in a service gate after being found by a man who attempted to offer it on Friday night. The only problem: the NYPD is always looking for the couple.

The NYPD announced Saturday that an unidentified couple had asked for police assistance at 11:55 pm. after the man, attempting to make his claim, dropped the ring about eight feet into a utility rack near Times Square. The emergency services of the NYPD were unable to immediately recover the ring and the couple left.

But around 10:30 am on Saturday morning, the NYPD emergency service unit found the ringtone again. The New York police released the video of the incident Saturday to facilitate their search for the couple.
