Scientists at the NASA Space Agency have discovered a "super-Earth" on which life can exist. UNIAN.

Super Earth was discovered by two students – a graduate of Adina Feinstein from the University of Chicago and McNean Bristow, University of North Carolina student at Asheville. They worked as interns with Joshua Schlider, astrophysicist at NASA's Goddard Space Center in the Greenbelt.
They then analyzed the data collected by the Kepler telescope in search of transit evidence representing a regular star eclipse. When they studied data from the fourth round of Kepler K2 mission observations, they noticed that there were two likely planetary transits. However, they needed to see the third in order to be able to announce the existence of the planet for sure.
Young scientists found the right transit on the third transit on Exoplanet Explorers.
