New films for the New Year

Adventures of S Nicolai

The little boy Artem (Maxim Lucch) and his parents (Masha Efrosinina, Przemysl Cipriansky) recently left a big city to settle in a small village of the Carpathians. The holidays are coming and, like all the children, Artem is waiting for Saint-Nicolas. But not at all! In a way, Nikolay appears before him by himself and communicates with pleasure. But in reality, no one is holy, under his appearance he is used by the most ordinary thief. Artem and his friends will show all their courage, ingenuity and agility to bring the villagers to the drinking water.

The family adventure comedy "Adventure S Nicholas" became one of the winners of the 10th Derzhkino Contest and received 22.9 million UAH in state grants. The total cost was 38.2 million UAH. The soundtrack of the cassette is a new song of the band O.Torvald, written specifically for this occasion. The film raised 6.5 million hryvna during the first two weeks of the lease.

Nutcracker and Four Kingdoms

The film is essentially a continuation of Hoffman's famous fairy tale. The main heroine was Clara, daughter of Mary, the main character of the original work. In the evening, on the eve of Christmas Clara (McKenzie Foy), her family is saddened by the death of her mother, Marie. Seeking her gift at the House of the Cross, Drosselmayer (Morgan Freeman), Clara falls in a charming country. It turns out that these are four kingdoms in danger. And only Clara can save them.

The staging is entrusted to Swedish director Lasse Hallstrem ("Chocolate", "Khatiko", "Mistyfication"), triple Oscar finalist.

The female lead is awarded to Mackenzie Foy. The 16-year-old actress is filming at the age of 6 years old. The most important of her work is Intertella, where she played the protagonist's daughter.
