Olena Shoptenko – interesting facts about the choreographer

Today, December 21st, the star choreographer Olena Shoptenko is 31 years old. Six months ago, she became a mother and in early December she went to the Dancing with the stars floor. More interesting facts about the life of Elena Shoptenko – in our documentation.

1. Elena Shoptenko was born into a family businessman and a doctor. His father is involved in mushroom cultivation and his mother is a neuropathologist.

2. The dances appeared in the life of Olena Shoptenko at the age of 6 years old. The future choreographer attended her first training in 1993. After 2 years, Elena changed direction – instead of classical dance beginning to practice the ballroom.

Elena Shoptenko graduated from school with a gold medal. After graduating, she entered the National Economic University.

4. The choreographer earned her first award in 2000. Olena Shoptenko became a Kyiv champion and participated in the semifinals of the German Open tournament in Mannheim

5. Already in 2006, Elena received an honorary title – the world champion of ballroom dancing. The following year, the star wins the Ukrainian championship.

6. Olena Shoptenko and Volodymyr Zelensky won the first season of the Dances with Stars project. Last year, with Ahtym Seitablayev, they received a bronze dance show.

7. Elena's husband is an entrepreneur Alexei Ivanov. The marriage took place 2 years after the divorce with Dmitry Dikusar.

8. Six hundred years ago, Olena Shoptenko gave birth to her first child. The son was named in honor of his father – Alex

9. After birth, the star was home only 3 days. On the 4th, Elena turned to Star Dancing. At the end of the season, she first went to the floor after the birth of a child.

10. In the near future, Elena Shoptenko plans to recover and relax after a physical activity. Instead of dancing, she will spend two months pilates.
