Brent traded at 56.88 dollars a barrel

At 12:14 Kiev time, the price of a barrel of Brent oil was 56.88 dollars the barrel. This represents a decrease of -2.80% compared to the end of the previous session.
It should be noted that on the eve of the oil price, Brent had fallen below $ 57 a barrel. The last oil traded at this mark in October 2017.
Oil prices are down after the publication of the American Institute of Oil (API) on the growth of US oil reserves of 3.5 million barrels last week, 1.8 million barrels of gasoline. At the same time, according to the IPA, the distillate stocks in the country have decreased by 3.4 million barrels.
Reminder, December 7, OPEC + countries agreed to reduce oil production by 1.2 million barrels per day to balance the market. The decision was made despite calls by US President Donald Trump not to reduce oil production.
