Brent traded at $ 74.57 a barrel

The price of a Brent barrel from the North Sea on Friday, July 27, 2018 is above the $ 74 a barrel mark. This is evidenced by the stock trading data on the RBC website

Thus, at 15:20, at Kiev time, the price of Brent oil was at the level of 74.57 dollars a barrel. This is 0.11% higher than the closing level of the previous transactions.

Note that oil prices for standard brands are stable for the third consecutive session. In particular, the suspension of deliveries from Saudi Arabia via the Bab Elmandeb Strait in the Red Sea and the reduction of oil deliveries to the United States since 2015 continue to support the market.

Saudi shipments cease after attacks by Khmetic rebels on two tankers. At the time RBC-Ukraine crossed the Straits, it accounted for about 10% of the daily volume of oil transported by sea – 4.8 million barrels

Previously, RBC-Ukraine reported that Iran was threatening to close its oil exports from the Persian Gulf. In the event of a deadlock in the Strait of Hormuz, oil transportation from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates will not be possible.
