On each of these Russian warships have installed two sets of "Filina".

This equipment is capable of suppressing the channels of visual-optical and optoelectronic observation at night and at dusk. In addition, the stations "Filin" will ensure the elimination of melee weapons, directed against surface ships and ships of the Russian Navy.

"Filin" operates under the action of a radiation capable of extinguishing night vision devices, infrared laser rangefinders, anti-tank guided missile guidance systems

The same equipment should be built by two other frigates, whose construction is in progress.
