The Polish authorities decide to build an artificial island in Vyslinskaya, in Kaliningrad Bay. It will be created in the country's territorial waters and the plan will cost more than $ 880 million.

The island will be sent to the ground, which will appear when the construction of a navigable channel through the spit of the Vistula. Poland said that it would not use the island for tourist purposes. It should have an area of about 181 hectares
By the way, the beginning of the construction work of the Vistula brook was planned for November 2018. It is planned to create a channel passing through an arrow in the village from Novy Svit because it is the smallest part of the sandy peninsula. In Poland, they say that the chain will intensify navigation under the flags of the EU countries in the Gulf, passing through the territorial waters of Russia.
The navigable channel crossing the spire should have a length of about 1 km and a depth of 5 m. It will link the Baltic Sea to the Gulf of Kaliningrad. For this reason, large ships can enter the port of Elblag. The cost of building a canal is estimated at 880 million zlotys.
