Do you get money from the local police?

Sounds incredible? A Pennsylvania Police Department is giving three lucky volunteers the opportunity to help train officers to field sobriety tests by drinking a lot.

Do not bother, though. The police department of Kutztown Borough released Facebook's request Wednesday and was inundated with enthusiastic volunteers. On Thursday, the ministry said that it was an offer of limited duration.

"We have an overwhelming response in this regard," reads a commentary from the Kutztown police. "And at this point, we have enough volunteers."

The Ministry makes some provisions when it makes the initial request. Participants in the training exercise must be in good health, with a clean record and without a history of drug or alcohol abuse. They must sign a waiver and need a sober companion ready to take care of it thereafter.

And, of course, they must "be willing to drink strong alcohol until intoxicated".

say that the city responded enthusiastically to the survey would be a euphemism. The message was shared more than 1,400 times Thursday night and hundreds of people left comments, all for a borough whose population exceeds a little over 5,000 people.

"Is there a spectator area?" a commentator wrote.

"Will this count for community service?" asked another.

Hopes, young and old, challenged the requirement that participants be between 25 and 40 years old.

"The cutoff age is 40 years old !!" exclaimed Danny Wade, a repulsed volunteer, adding: "This 52-year-old firefighter is willing to practice !!!"

Kutztown, located in Bucolic Berks County, sits at the intersection of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, with its carriage rides and the state-owned Kutztown University just outside the confines borough. "We talk on Facebook, says Kutztown as a university town, everyone is drunk.

The sobriety test training will only be held in April and it's hard to know what test of ## 147 ## Police Chief Craig Summers will use to choose among the volunteers, but at least for the moment, it seems that all eyes are on Summers – and the three gold tickets he will hand out soon.
