The National Bank introduced a 20 hryvnia banknote into a currency circulation of Ukraine
The bank note has a portrait of an outstanding writer and scientist, Frank Franko.
In the beginning NBU plans to manufacture and put into circulation about 5 million new banknotes for subsequent distribution among banks, which, in turn, will provide Ukraine with new tickets.
According to the Director of the Monetary Circulation Department NBU Viktor Zayvenko, with the renewal of the design and the banknote protection system, the National Bank strives to improve their reliability.

NBU stated a few years ago that she was willing to modernize its cash flow and increase the protection of Ukrainian money. Two tickets have already been reissued in a new design. These are UAH 100 and 500, which were launched in March 2015 and April 2016, respectively

20 new hryvnias will be launched into the currency circulation of Ukraine from the September 25
