Congressional Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez retaliated after outgoing Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill of Missouri recently said, "I do not understand why she is the thing."
"I do not know why the former Senator McCaskill went on television to call me a "shiny object", but that's pretty disappointing, said Ocasio-Cortez on Saturday on Twitter. "McCaskill promised that she would return 100% on her anti-immigrant rhetoric and would be lost.In MO, almost all the problems of progressive voting were won."
McCaskill made this remark in an interview with CNN.
"A new bright and brilliant object," McCaskill also said about Ocasio-Cortez. "She came out of nowhere and surprised people when she beat a member of the very experienced Congress, and so she has now I do not know yet what she did to arouse this kind of enthusiasm. "

Ms. McCaskill added that she wished Ocasio-Cortez good luck but that she hoped that Ocasio-Cortez would realize that there are parts of the country where workers work to look for workable solutions rather than ambitious goals.
"Rhetoric is cheap. Achieving results is much more difficult, "added McCaskill.
