Romania plans to modernize customs posts at the border with Ukraine, as well as with Moldova and Serbia, said Romanian Minister of Public Finance Eugen Teodorovich, according to Romanian Radio [19659002AccordingtotheRomanianministerthecustomsofficeswillbemodernizedmobilescannerstocheckallgoodsimportedintothecountrySuchmeasuresaimtoreducesmugglingandeliminatedamagetothestatebudget
Theodorovich also noted that a number of government agreements will be signed on the basis of which these purchases will be made by the end of the year. For this, the Romanian government is already in talks with major equipment manufacturers from China, the United States and Switzerland.
