In Russia, began work on the creation of a new cruise missile "Caliber-M". It seems to have been designed to meet the needs of the Russian Navy. He will arm the warships.

Russians claim that the new missile will have greater autonomy up to 4,500 kilometers. In addition, the "novelty" will receive larger dimensions: the weight of the fighting party – up to 1 ton.

"Caliber-M" should become a weapon for surface ships and submarines. A new modification of the Caliber cruise missile will be used for ground strikes.
By the way, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin said that this new weapon should guarantee the security of Russia for decades. Movyalyov, she does not have analogues – and all that "is used to aggressive rhetoric" should be the subject of careful thought.
