Russia warned European countries against the construction of the North Stream 2 gas pipeline and declared itself willing to pass gas through Ukraine only under Russian conditions
Alexander Pankin, Chief Deputy Foreign Ministry, told Deutsche Welle. The official said that if the North Stream-2 resisted to preserve the transit of Ukraine, "this number will not pass."
"We are ready to continue the Ukrainian transit, but on the necessary conditions," said Pankin.
The representative of the Russian Federation would also have threatened that they constitute a problem for European consumers in case of obstruction of the North Stream-2 in the context of the lack of agreement on the transit in Ukraine.
