KYIV. February 7, UNN. The International Union of Biathletists (IBU) wrote a letter to the Ukrainian Biathlon Federation to inform it of permission to change sports citizenship for biathlete Anastasiya Rasskazova. UNN referring to the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine

The athlete will be able to take part in the national team of Ukraine at the championship final Junior IBU of the Swiss Torsby (March 1-2), as well as at the Junior European Championship in Norwegian Shushen (March 6-10).

Rasskazova, 20, was part of the junior team of Russia. Last season, she also played for Russia at the IBU Youth Cup. In 2017, a biathlete competed in the Junior World Championship.

Recall that 20-year-old Ukrainian biathlete Katerina Bech was eligible to compete for the top spots in the biathlon World Cup finals. In August 2018, she settled in Ukraine with Anastasiya Rasskazova and Oksana Moskalenko, as well as coach Ilya Lopukhov. The native of Khabarovsk was represented by Russia in 2018.
