Samsung smartphones secretly send photo owners
The smartphone manufacturer acknowledged the presence of a group. Experts are studying the causes of the problem.
Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S9 flagship smartphones send users of private photos without their knowledge. This is written by Gizmodo magazine.
Photos of smartphone owners, chosen at random, are sent to other users via the Texting app. It is installed on Galaxy devices by default.
Snapshots are sent via SMS. One of the users said that the gadget sent an entire gallery instead of one, sending a post at night.
The system does not inform the sender of the owner of the device itself. Thus, users do not know how to send their photos.
"We know the reports on this issue, and our technical teams are studying it. Interested customers are encouraged to contact us directly," the company said.
