Samsung has joined Huawei, Lenovo and Qualcomm and has developed a technology to accelerate graphics on smartphones. It should bear the trade name of Neuro Game Booster and the company has already acquired its trademark rights. Like other similar video accelerator chips, Samsung's development is also based on software optimization.

The description of the application for Neuro Game Booster does not reveal the technology of his work. However, experts believe that it will be similar to existing solutions. Artificial intelligence algorithms will try to allocate "reasonably" available resources to increase the performance of the smartphone's graphics system.

The news of accelerated graphics processing technology appeared after the information on the development of its own Samsung mobile video accelerator. Today, the South Korean giant uses ARM Mali solution. It's also unclear whether Samsung will install its own video chip in the Qualcomm processors part of the Adreno GPU video card

One of the first video accelerators was the Huawei GPU Turbo technology, announced in the summer 2018. The developers promised Honor phone users to increase the performance of the graphics chip by 60% and their energy efficiency by 30%. This allows smartphones to deal with virtual reality and added, providing a smoother picture. The technology also offers HDR quality and some other gaming graphics enhancements. Similar decisions have been announced by Lenovo and Qualcomm. The first is called Game Line Network Acceleration, the second is Adreno Turbo.
