It is worth noting that the drone will become essentially the next-generation accessory in the range of Galaxy smartphones. The patent describes an unmanned aerial vehicle with a multitude of special sensors. In addition to the camera sensor, it will be equipped with gyroscopes, a barometer, a compass, ultrasonic sensors, temperature sensors, light and ultraviolet rays.
"The present invention provides a transformed unmanned aerial vehicle in which the levers for attaching the propeller in the main body can be provided", – says the Samsung patent application.
In addition, the invention should also benefit from conventional technologies such as wireless control with a smartphone, tablet or PC. Samsung says the dron can be ordered from any electronic device, including home appliances, such as washing machines and refrigerators.
The drum is composed of two compartments that move together to form a compact portable unit. The company plans to use controls-like controls that can be controlled from the screen of a smartphone.
This is the fifth drone patent filed by Samsung this year alone. According to research firm IDC the global annual growth rate of the UAV sector has increased by 30.6% and is expected to reach $ 29.5 billion by 2022
