The patent application contains an illustration of the Galaxy device, featuring a fingerprint reader located on the back of the screen. The sensor is able to detect a contact with a certain pushing force, which the company describes as a "strong contact". Samsung notes that the sensor will determine the "strong touch" only in a given area. In this case, the area is located at the bottom of the screen. The fingerprint recognition area will be located in this "high touch" area. The patent indicates that this technology can be used in both smartphones and smartphones.

Samsung also notes that a device with this technology may include a screen, a sensor touch and / or digital pen. In addition, LCD panels, LEDs, OLEDs, MEMS panels or electronic paper technology can be used. In turn, the touch sensor can be based on capacitive, resistive, infrared, ultrasound or technology sensitive technology.

There is still no evidence that Samsung is working on a commercial device that uses the technology described in this patent.
