At the Qualcomm Snapdragon Technology Summit, Qualcomm invited partners who not only listened to what the chip maker had shown at the summit, but brought a number of prototypes. Samsung has demonstrated that its mobile device can operate on fifth generation networks. And it's not the Samsung Galaxy S10, but something very impressive.
Obviously, this prototype is used as a testing ground for technology. The device is very massive, bulky and terribly ugly. Here, ergonomics and aesthetics have been clearly evaluated. And the display of the device is by no means the most elegant indentity on the ends and there is in the upper right corner an ugly influx of front cameras. Most likely, Samsung will still not come out of the mobile phone with this design, but it's just a prototype without attention to detail and appearance. The focus here has been on functionality and, in particular, on the stability of 5G networks.
According to rumors, Samsung will launch a 5G smartphone within the Galaxy S10 family. 12GB of RAM, 1TB of flash memory and four cameras at the rear can still be attributed to this version of the flagship product. As a result, it is likely that we will know this in February at MWC 2019.
