Samsung has managed to refrain from using the cutout located on the top of the screen of its smartphone, which the industry calls eyebrows or blows. This design, which became popular in 2017 after the release of the iPhone X, is gradually giving way to a different solution.
The South Korean manufacturer has made every effort to reduce the width of the frame on all sides of the screen. Recently, the first smartphone business with a rounded opening on the front camera screen, the special version of which will appear on February 14.
However, a trend that has become popular over the past year will continue to support many smartphones. These are semi-circular or droplet screens that Samsung has dubbed the Infinity-V and Infinity-U screens.
According to sources, the company will launch in 2019 a large number of smartphone models with similar screens in various price categories, including cheap smartphones.
On January 28, the Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20 will be presented and will receive such screens.
